Aviary SolAxe™ GT-801 Drop-In Solar Chassis (Power Electronics Pre-Wired)

Have you already purchased a Bitaxe Supra, Gamma, or 801 board and want to run it 100% off-grid using a solar panel? The SolAxe™ Drop-In Solar Chassis provides the entire weather-resistant housing and precision-tuned internal power delivery system required to safely power your ASIC from the sun—saving you from hours of electrical engineering, soldering, and voltage tuning.

This is a fully assembled, wired, and calibrated chassis. All you have to do is drop in your own Bitaxe hashboard, plug in the internal 5V power lead, and connect your solar array to the exterior cable gland.

Included Power Electronics (Pre-Wired & Calibrated) - **Internal Solar MPPT Controller Board**: Maximizes photovoltaic harvest across variable sunlight angles. - **High-Efficiency Step-Down Buck Voltage Regulator**: Accepts 9V–28V DC (from a 12V/18V solar panel or battery) and is pre-calibrated to deliver a rock-solid, ripple-free 5V DC to your ASIC. - **Integrated Digital LED Voltmeter**: Real-time red seven-segment digital voltage display embedded in the chassis for instant visual health checks and bus voltage verification. - **Heavy-Duty XT30 Quick-Disconnect Power Harness**: Custom-spliced wiring with waterproof solder-sleeve heatshrink connectors and an in-line 5A blade fuse. - **Liquid-Tight PG Cable Gland**: Waterproof exterior cable passthrough protecting against moisture ingress.

Enclosure & Aerodynamic Cooling - **Precision-Machined PVC Junction Box** (5.9" × 4.3" × 2.8" / 150 × 110 × 70 mm): Matte black reinforced thermoplastic with high-tensile stainless assembly screws. - **Active Forced-Air Cooling**: Top-mounted high-static-pressure cooling fan with stainless steel finger guard and integrated extrusion heatsink. - **Aerodynamic Venting Array**: 55+ precision-drilled convection orifices, featuring a front honeycomb intake matrix directing cool airflow directly over the VRM inductor choke.
